Cannabidiol: CBD which is one of several cannabinoids, or chemical compounds, that are found in cannabis and hemp plants. Of course, when you think of Cannabis you think of marijuana (the drug that is illegal). The most famous cannabinoid is tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, which is the main psychoactive component in marijuana (aka, the part that gets you high). CBD, however, does not create that same “high” feeling when ingested. Basically CBD is THCs “straight-edge” cousin.
I am an avid marijuana supporter. ESPECIALLY FOR MEDICAL USE! I feel like it’s something that can help people with chronic pain tremendously BUT as you know marijuana is still illegal in many states mine included.
I have tried extraordinary measures to help my chronic pain. Surgeries, neurotransmitters, pain killers, birth control since my chronic pain is pelvic related. Endometriosis has no cure therefore it comes with abundance of chronic pain.
My first CBD product I tried was an oil tincture, you take the oil orally/put it under the tongue. I did NOT find this did anything and it tasted absolutely disgusting but it was my first product I ever used so I didn’t know much about CBD at that point. The next product I tried was using the CBD on my skin, again didn’t really find it helped. Then I tried these CBD bath bombs by Bath By Bex (gonna link her below) THESE WERE AMAZING! I have placed two orders since and I can truly feel the relaxation after soaking in a bath for 20+ minutes. This sparked a bigger interest in CBD for me. The sleep, the relaxation, and the little to no pain I was able to get from those bath bombs were amazing to me. I knew I needed to try more and the only other thing I truly wanted to try was smoking/vaping CBD.
I watched Nikki Phillipi’s video on CBD. If you don’t know Nikki she is a well known YouTuber who has dealt with chronic pain issues since age 13. She too has tried everything for her pain and was still getting no where. If you would like more information from a different perspective I will link her video below.
After watching her video I had been looking for vape/smokeable CBD for weeks. But there is a lot of sites that have them but I have read that not all of the sites have good CBD.
According to the Marijuana Break Staff there are a few things to look for when looking to purchase CBD. I think these two are super important but feel free to check out the others. (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.marijuanabreak.com/cbd-vaping-oil-juice-liquids/amp)
The CBD Oil Milligram Catch: One of the main things to watch out for when purchasing CBD oil is the “milligram catch.” When written on the bottle 350mg, this doesn’t mean that you are getting 350 mg of CBD. What it means, rather, is that you are getting 350 mg of CBD Oil.
The CBD Oil Extraction Process: The extraction process will ultimately determine the quality and purity of the CBD oil. There are many different extraction processes out there, but the one you want your product to have is called CO2 extraction. CO2 extraction is a sophisticated method that uses pressurized CO2 to extract the goodness (aka the active cannabinoids) from the plant. At specific pressures and temperatures, the CO2 acts like a solvent without really being one. The CO2 extraction method divides into a few sub-categories, which include supercritical CO2 extractions, sub-critical CO2 extractions, and mid-critical.
So as you can see trying to find something was rather difficult for me so I’m here to make things less difficult for all my spoonies. ✨
I have ordered two types of vapes/smokeable CBD. I ordered the CBD Luxe “Be calm” that Nikki refers to in her video-the one she used. And I also purchased a vape kit set from PureCBDVapors. I ordered the “blue dream” flavor in 500mg. This kit came with the reusable vape pen, one cartridge, battery, and a charger.
They both shipped and arrived super quickly so that’s a huge plus. They are also both very effective. I researched for days and I have asked others what does CBD make you feel like? Does it have an effect that is apparent or? I had so many questions. But since vaping the CBD I have found there is an apparent factor. If you have ever smoked weed (yes I have shit can I get in trouble for this?!) you know the “high” feeling. Your body feels lighter, everything moves slower, everything feels great. With these CBD vapes I have found a similar effect.. not a buzzed high like you get with THC but a high that is a happy high. You are relaxed but your judgment isn’t clouded.
After months of trying these I have come to the conclusion that the bath bombs by Bath By Bex are truly what works best for me and my chronic endometriosis pain. I come out the bath feeling so relaxed and when I say relaxed I mean my muscles are lose, I’m not tense, truly feeling like a noodle! The best. 💛✨✨
